Mindful Sourcing and Organic Ingredients Matter to Us!
June 18th 2018
At Embody Fitness Gourmet, great is never good enough. We strive to keep evolving and improving to meet YOUR needs and to build up our local communities. We continually work to amp up the nutritional benefits of the food we make while also supporting the values we believe in.
Sourcing the highest quality foods and ingredients for you and your kids is central to our ethos. We aim to uncomplicate the simple act of eating well. By fueling your bodies with nourishing gourmet quality, chef made, thoughtfully sourced foods, we can make you feel and look your best!
What you put in and on your body matters. We believe food should elevate your performance, mind, body and spirit. We work hard to be your go-to healthy food resource.
Get excited!! We are committing to sourcing more local, organic, non-GMO ingredients over the next year. They are better for you and the environment and that matters to us. We currently source more than 20 organic ingredients, here are some highlights:
Spinach, Kale, Acai Juice, Coconut Milk, Apple Cider Vinegar, Aloe Vera, Maple Syrup, Agave, Coconut Oil, Spirulina, Cayenne, Cinnamon, Cashew Butter, Granola, Quinoa, Chia, Hemp Protein, Almond Buzz Coffee, and more!
We are so thrilled to be able to partner with more local farmers to support local businesses, sustainable agriculture and carry nutrient dense farm-to-table ingredients for you. Food traveling thousands of miles to you loses its nutritional integrity and freshness. There’s no doubt food grown close to home just tastes better!
Supporting local farms builds up our local economy and community. We currently partner with Red Bee Honey in CT for our honey, Sport Hill Farm in CT for their tomato sauce, Cabot Cream in Vermont for their greek yogurt and others.
We are not done! We are hard at work to upgrade and enhance the GREAT foods we already provide. We can’t wait for you to reap the benefits. You matter. Our community matters. The environment matters.
We want you to know what’s in store: more local and organic goodness. It’s a process. Be a part of it!
As always, we love hearing from our customers and welcome your continued feedback.
